Damage deposit
A security deposit to cover 'additional charges' including breakages, extra cleaning or further accommodation charges incurred during your stay. The damage deposit is refundable within two weeks after departure.

This is a comfortable flat. If you like cooking, like me, you will also find the kitchen well equipped and nice to be in. Trying to see and do as much as you can in a place like London is exhausting (and wonderful)…we really loved coming home in the late afternoons and enjoying our "home away from home". "Great place to stay"
This was our second trip to London. It was also the second time we rented an apartment there.
Here are some of my thoughts:
Pros:
1. We loved the location. Our daughter works at the London Business School. The school is literally right across the street. It is about a five minute walk to the Baker Street Underground Station. And we walked to central London and back several times from the flat. It's about three miles to Big Ben.
2. Great people to work with. No problems at all.
3. The flat was clean and had adequate room. It was just two of us staying there. Our daughter stayed on night in the second bedroom. It would be a bit of a challenge with four, mostly because of the one small bathroom. However, that would be no different than a family of four staying in a hotel room. Even though it was small by american standards, there was plenty of room.
4. The main bedroom had plenty of room and plenty of storage. The bed is small by american standards, but it was bigger than the flat we had in London a couple of years ago. I'm not a small guy (6-1, 230 pounds), but my wife and I were comfortable in the bed.
5. Nice TV with cable and three couches (on the smaller side) in the living room. There was also a dining room table with four chairs.
Cons:
1. The bathroom was very small. It was actually divided into two rooms. One had the toilet, the other a small shower and sink. Very difficult to close the door to the toilet because you kind of had to dance around the door to get it closed. Again, this wasn't an issue for my wife and I, because we were the only ones there and didn't have to be concerned with closing the door. It the second part of the bathroom (the shower & sink), I literally had to turn sideways to get past the shower to the sink. I also stepped into the hallway to dry off. Again, not a big deal, because it was only my wife there. If we had children with us, the bathroom size would have been a bit more of a challenge.

The Marlybone Comfort and Ease apartment perfectly met the needs of our family of 4 (including two teenaged boys). The location was ideal as we were able to get everywhere we wanted to go from the Baker Street underground station. We also enjoyed the proximity to Regents Park for after dinner strolls. There are a couple of Tesco locations within easy walking distance, so it was no trouble getting groceries to save money on breakfast and the occasional dinner. There are also a number of nice restaurants in the area. Those unaccustomed to a little road noise should prepare themselves as the apartment sits on a fairly busy street, but that is the cost of a superb location. We would certainly recommend the flat to friends.

We loved the location of this apartment and thought the apartment was well appointed, with the exception of the very small bathroom - could barely move around as it was so small, and had to stand close to shower wall to take a shower to avoid water seeping out on the floor. The rest of the apartment was a nice comfortable size and well appointed and in a great location and we loved how secure it was too. Was close to the tube and bus line and within walking distance to many local attractions and there was a Starbuck's only a couple of blocks away! Would have been nice to have a phone line although there was WiFi which worked perfectly. We would stay here again if traveling to London. AnneMarie and Caroline, January 2013

My stay at the Marylebone was amazing. I invited my parents to a trip to London (both are almost 80) and we all enjoyed our stay at the property. The property is in a great location and the tube stations Marylebone and Baker street are just a few minutes away. There is a great selection of stores and restaurants nearby, and the Sherlock Holmes Museum is just around the corner. When you arrive, note that the building has three different entrances. The taxi driver dropped us off at the wrong entrance and we started panicking a little, since we did not see our apartment. Just walk around the building and you will find your entrance. The apartment was exactly as it was shown in the pictures. Jennifer was kind enough to let us stay beyond check out time at no cost. We really appreciated it and we will not only recommend her property, but we will be back.

Thank you so much for renting us the Marylebone Comfort and Ease flat back in April. We all had such a great time and took home so many fun photos and memories of a wonderful visit. The location was super, and the flat was a godsend for our young sons to wind down in at the end of the day. I was thrilled to be able to cook plain buttered pasta for the boys each night, as they tried different foods during the day but it comforted them to have their favorite plain food at night.
The driver that you recommended was also great. The best money ever spent was having him pick us up at the airport and deposit us, tired, jetlagged and disoriented, right at the doorstep.

Very nice flat in a good location...we really enjoyed our stay here. It has everything you need and is clean and attractive. The kids especially loved the fact that it is so close to Regent's Park which is full of activities for them and London Zoo. Close to shops and supermarkets, which is also useful. My son and I really appreciated the Marylebone flat. The location near the Baker Street tube made for quick travel around the City. We were surprised at how much this area closes early at night--grocery shopping proved inconvenient unless done earlier in the day. liked how quiet the flat is at night and the comfort of the beds was good.
